Interested in Becoming a Certified Real-Time Crime Center Professional (RCCP)?
Here's Your Chance to Take the Exam at the Conference & at a discounted rate of $150 per person!
About:
The National Real Time Crime Center Association has developed criteria to determine competence in the practice of efficiently and effectively working in a Public Safety Real Time Crime Center and recognizes individuals meeting these criteria through its certification program. The NRTCCA is an independent body made up of Real Time Crime Center Professionals who determine what obligations you need to fulfill prior to and after certification.
The RCCP exam was developed through a combined effort of qualified content experts. While many crime centers have policies and procedures specific to their own agency, the RCCP exam focuses on general best practices that are applicable to all centers and those who staff them.
Individuals who meet the eligibility requirements and who successfully pass the examination attain the two-year designation. To re-certify, those holding the RCCP designation must meet certain criteria during their renewal period.
Benefits:
The purpose of certification is to promote best practices of Real Time Crime Centers through the certification of qualified professionals who staff these centers nationwide. Additionally, certification:
-
Enhances certificate holders’ credibility within their organizations and among their peers.
-
Encourages continued personal and professional growth.
-
Provides a national standard of requisite knowledge required for certification.
The Real-Time Crime Center Professional (RCCP) is someone with relevant experience and demonstrated knowledge in RTCC operations, who can assist organizations in understanding and adhering to best practices for operating a RTCC.
